Comet/Multi-Physics Core

Comet Multi-Physics/Core is the base application that enables access to all of the integrated modeling and process template authoring capabilities.

It is a also pre-requisite for executing any Comet process template. Comet Multi-Physics/Core does not contain any Comet adaptors required to execute a simulation process except for Microsoft Excel. All other Comet adaptors can be purchased either a la carte or as part of specially packaged vertical application bundles for dedicated author users who require regular access to both Comet Multi-Physics/Core and the adaptors used in their simulation process templates.

All Comet vertical application bundles include Comet Multi-Physics/Core plus the required add-on adaptors for their respective application domains. Current bundles include:

  • Comet/Structures
    • Includes a 3-D CAD adaptor, Integrated FEA Meshing, one Structural FEA adaptor
  • Comet/Thermal Workshop
    • Includes a 3-D CAD adaptor, Thermal Desktop adaptor
  • Comet/Structural Dynamics
    • Includes a 3-D CAD adaptor, Integrated FEA Meshing, MSC ADAMS, MATLAB, one Structural FEA adaptor
  • Comet/Optronics
    • Includes a 3-D CAD adaptor, Integrated FEA Meshing, MATLAB, one Structural FEA adaptor, CODE V and SigFit Optics adaptors
